This Limited Edition is the first Retro 51 pen exclusively available in the Benelux. The design of this pen is made by Caroline Vermeir, also known as Studio Caro, a famous visual artist and 3D illustrator from Antwerp.
She has been working freelance since 2015 for a varietyof awesome clients, going from national tv stations(VRT/VTM) to a newspaper called De Morgen, for whichshe illustrates a portrait each week since 2019. Her work focuses mostly on bold colours, fine arts, popculture and movie posters, using 3D illustration(Cinema4D & Octane) and digital painting (iPad Pro &Procreate/Adobe Photoshop & Wacom Cintiq) as herfavourite techniques.
If Caroline had a time machine, she'd be hanging outsomewhere around 1985 most of the time. Blasting tackynew wave bands, drowning in sweet neon-colouredmelancholy.
For the first edition in the "European Capitals" series, Brussels was chosen. Naturally, the famous Atomium could not be missing on this beautiful pen.
Only 500 pieces were made of this limited edition and each pen is numbered.
