The Blackwing x The Lord of the Rings Gift Set brings twenty pencils and matching accessories together in one box, inspired by the twenty Rings of Power from Middle-earth. The pencils carry original artwork by illustrator Mike Hawthorne, covering the Rings of Men, Elves and Dwarves. At the centre sits the gold The One Ring pencil, imprinted with the inscription of the One Ring.
The set holds four graphite grades, split across the races: nine pencils for Men (soft), seven for Dwarves (balanced), three for Elves (firm) and the single gold Ring pencil (extra-firm). The sharpener is the Blackwing One-Step Long Point Sharpener in gold with the One Ring design, and the Point Guard is gold as well. The box also contains a map of Middle-earth on transparent transfer paper.
The set is an officially licensed product of Middle-earth Enterprises under The Lord of the Rings trademark.
