Shipping costs and delivery times

We also offer international delivery to other countries; you'll see the shipping cost at checkout. We ship Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 4 pm or at the weekend leave on the next working day. Outside the EU, for example to the UK, Switzerland or the US, we don't charge Belgian VAT. Import duties and VAT in the destination country are paid by the recipient.

How we deliver

You choose the carrier yourself at checkout; the table above shows which ones deliver in your country. Every order goes out in a sturdy shipping box.

As soon as your parcel leaves, you get an e-mail with a tracking link. On the day of delivery the carrier lets you know the time slot. If that doesn't suit you, pick another day, another address or a safe place to leave the parcel.

In the Netherlands, Saturday delivery is standard. In Belgium you can choose Saturday delivery by bpost at checkout.

Not at home? The carrier comes back the next working day. You can also give a separate delivery address, your work for example.

Collect from our shop

Rather pick it up yourself? You can, at our shop at Paardenmarkt 112 in Antwerp. We'll e-mail you as soon as your order is ready. There's free parking at Rodestraat 5, just around the corner.

We're open Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 to 12:15 and 14:00 to 18:00. In December we're also open on Saturday 12, 19 and 26 December, from 10:00 to 17:00.

Out of stock or engraved

If an item is out of stock, we deliver it as fast as we can, usually within a few working days. If it will take longer, we'll let you know by e-mail or phone. If you order items that are in stock together with items that aren't, we send what we have straight away. The rest follows free of charge as soon as it comes in.

We engrave in our own workshop, so engraving adds no waiting time. An engraved order placed before 4 pm on a working day still leaves the same day.

Gift wrapping and gift service

Buying a gift? Choose gift wrapping at checkout and we wrap it for free. A pen for a birthday, a farewell or the holidays then arrives ready to hand over.

With our free gift service we send the present straight to the recipient, with no invoice in the parcel and with your personal message (add it in the comment field at checkout). It works well for business gifts to clients or staff: you order, we wrap and ship, and you follow the parcel until it's delivered.

Returns

Our returns policy: you can return an item within 14 days of receipt, without telling us in advance. This is how it works:

1. Pack the item undamaged, in its original packaging where possible, and include the invoice.
2. Send it to Penworld, returns department, Paardenmarkt 112, 2000 Antwerpen, Belgium. You pay the return shipping costs.
3. We refund the amount, including the shipping costs you paid on your order, within 5 working days of receiving your return.

Engraved and other personalised items cannot be returned.

Businesses

Ordering as a business from an EU country other than Belgium? Then we deliver intra-community at 0% VAT. Enter your company name and VAT number correctly at checkout. For larger quantities or business gifts we're happy to send you a quote.
