Which Parker refill fits my pen?
This is where it usually goes wrong, because the three types do not fit in each other's pen.

Not sure whether you have a ballpoint or a rollerball? Unscrew the pen and look at the refill inside. A ballpoint refill is short and thin with a metal tip. A rollerball refill is easy to spot: much longer and noticeably thicker.
Parker ballpoint refill: QUINKflow and gel
The QUINKflow is the standard refill for every Parker ballpoint. Blue and black, in fine, medium and broad. Red we have in medium.
There is also the Quink gel refill, in black and blue. It writes wetter and gives a fuller line. It does run out sooner. The size is the same as the QUINKflow, so swapping is no problem.
Parker rollerball refill
Parker's rollerball refill has its own size, longer and thicker than a ballpoint refill, and it only fits a Parker rollerball. Available in blue and black, fine and medium.
Parker fountain pen: cartridges or converter
For the fountain pen we stock the Quink ink cartridges, available in black, blue, blue-black and washable blue. They fit every modern Parker fountain pen.
Prefer bottled ink? Then you need a converter. It goes in place of the cartridge and you fill it from an ink bottle. We stock the Parker Quink ink bottles as well.
Frequently asked questions about Parker refills
How do I replace the refill in my Parker?
Unscrew the pen in the middle. The old refill comes straight out, the new one slides in. On a retractable model you will hear a click once it sits properly.
Can I put a gel refill in my Parker ballpoint?
You can. The Quink gel refill is the same size as the QUINKflow, so swapping needs no adjustment. You get a wetter, fuller line, but it runs out sooner.
Does a ballpoint refill fit a Parker rollerball?
No, and this is the mistake we see most often. The rollerball refill is longer, thicker and has its own size. Even within the same model they are not interchangeable.
Fine, medium or broad?
Medium is the standard and suits most people. If you write small or take a lot of notes, go for fine. Broad gives a fuller line and looks good under a signature.
Which ink colours are available for the fountain pen?
The Quink ink cartridges come in black, blue, blue-black and washable blue. Washable blue comes out more easily after a spill, which makes it handy for school.
Are cheaper refills just as good?
They usually fit. The difference is in the ink: how smoothly it flows and how long the refill lasts. We only sell original Parker refills.
Can I use bottled ink in my Parker fountain pen?
Yes, with a converter. It goes in place of the ink cartridge and lets you draw ink from a bottle. Our Parker Quink ink bottles come in black, blue, blue-black and washable blue.
