The Caran d'Ache Ecridor Toile de Jouy Special Edition Ballpoint Pen belongs to the Christmas collection Toile de Jouy, Geneva Edition. Its hexagonal body has a platinum finish and carries a guilloché engraving based on Suzanne Pinon's Toile de Jouy design, where you will spot Geneva's Jet d'Eau and the Flower Clock. Engraved and mirror polished facets alternate, so the light catches it differently from every side.
Clip and button have a platinum finish, and the top of the push button is burgundy. The push mechanism is light and precise. At 128 mm and 26 grams the Ecridor is slim enough for an inside pocket.
It writes with a black Goliath refill in Medium, good for up to 600 A4 pages; spares are in the Caran d'Ache Goliath refills. The pen comes with a pouch in burgundy grained cowhide, in a gift box with the Toile de Jouy pattern and a ribbon. One of the facets has room for a short engraving. More versions are in the Caran d'Ache Ecridor range.
