Card holder or wallet: what is the difference?

A card holder is smaller than a wallet and is built around your cards, with room for a few notes at most. If you want a classic wallet with a coin pocket, have a look at our wallets.

How many cards fit in?

That depends on the model. The Ögon Slider takes 1 to 6 cards, the Ögon Oslo V2 up to 10 cards plus receipts and a few notes. With Secrid it varies per wallet; the number is listed with every product.

Aluminium or leather?

Aluminium is strong and keeps your cards straight, and the Ögon Oslo V2 also closes water resistant. Leather feels warmer, ages well and slides easily into an inside pocket. Secrid combines the two: an aluminium Cardprotector inside a leather cover.

What does RFID protection do?

A contactless bank card can be read from a short distance. A card holder with RFID protection shields your cards from that. Every Ögon card holder and the Secrid Cardprotector have this protection; the "RFID Safe" filter shows which other models do.

Can I have my card holder engraved?

Yes, on many models. We laser engrave your name or initials for free on the plain Ögon card holders and on Secrid: just choose it on the product page. The "Personalise" filter shows them at a glance.

Which brands can I find at Penworld?
