The Diplomat Aero Black Forest Ballpoint brings together the streamlined silhouette of a Zeppelin airship and the warm look of natural wood. The cap and barrel are crafted from aluminium and finished with a hydro dipping process that prints a realistic wood grain pattern onto the surface. The result looks like wood but feels like metal: smooth, cool to first touch, with the substance you expect from a serious writing instrument.
The Aero has been a fixture in the Diplomat range since its launch, ergonomically shaped and well balanced for long writing sessions. A twist mechanism advances the easyFlow refill smoothly into writing position. Diplomat has produced these pens in house in Cunewalde, Saxony, since 1922, with the attention to detail you expect from a German manufactory.
The pen ships in a Diplomat gift box with a black easyFlow refill installed. The international warranty runs for five years. A distinctive ballpoint for anyone who wants something personal in an environment where black or silver is the default, or as a gift for someone with an eye for design that takes a quiet cue from nature.
