The Faber-Castell Ambition Italic Midnight Mauve Fountain Pen belongs to the Italic series Faber-Castell created to mark twenty years of the Ambition. Its barrel is precious resin in a deep midnight violet, shaped with the twisted pattern that sets the Italic versions apart. Cap, grip section and spring-loaded clip are polished chrome-plated metal, a bright frame around the dark colour.
It writes with a stainless steel nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. The pen takes ink cartridges and comes with one blue cartridge; a converter for bottled ink is available separately.
