These Kaweco ink cartridges in black write in a deep pearl black. They use the international standard short size, so they work in every Kaweco fountain pen and in other pens that take international cartridges. Handy when you travel: this size turns up almost everywhere.
The ink flows smoothly and is water-based, so it rinses out easily when you switch colours. Do flush the pen between two colours, otherwise a little of the previous one lingers. The ink is not water-resistant. Each box holds six cartridges.
