LEUCHTTURM1917 is reviving the Drehgriffel from the 1920s. The name "Drehgriffel" is a German compound noun that directly translates as twist stylus. You recognise it straight away by the hexagonal body and the pointed tip, which has a contrasting colour, just like the twist button. It is made from precision-milled aluminium and brass, then painted and sealed, and uses a spring-loaded twist mechanism.
The Leuchtturm1917 Drehgriffel Nr. 1 Moss is part of HUMAN INTELLIGENCE, the new Leuchtturm1917 colour range with Bubblegum, Burgundy, Moss and Dove. The notebooks and Pen Loops come in the same colour, so pen and notebook match. The name points to the difference with AI: an algorithm can do a lot, but what you write by hand comes from your own head.
