The Leuchtturm1917 Drehgriffel Nr. 1 Silk Edition Laurel has a refined satin finish that feels smooth and gives a subtle metallic shimmer. Solid brass details strengthen that effect, and a discreet, colour-matched logo completes the design.
LEUCHTTURM1917 is reviving the Drehgriffel from the 1920s. The name "Drehgriffel" is a German compound noun that translates literally as twist stylus. You recognise it by its hexagonal body and tapered tip. The Silk Edition is a ballpoint pen (Nr. 1) made from precision-milled aluminium and brass, with a spring-loaded twist mechanism. The range comes in four colours: Laurel, Purpur, Rosé and Smoke.
