Visconti's Homo Sapiens series gains a new limited colour: Nebula Orion. The collection draws on interstellar nebulae, the places in the universe where clouds of gas and dust give birth to new stars. The Orion Nebula is one of the brightest in the night sky and has long stood for orientation and discovery.
That atmosphere sits in the material. The acrylic resin is cast by hand and shows deep reds shading into violet and yellow, with a golden glow. Thanks to its transparency and shifting colour, every pen turns out different; no two are alike. The gold finish adds warmth and depth.
The pen keeps the familiar Homo Sapiens size, with an 18kt gold nib and the Double Reservoir Power Filler system that fills from a bottle of ink.
