The Monteverde Ritma Mimosa is the annual collectible edition for 2026, and this year's colour is mimosa yellow: a soft, matte shade that stands out beautifully against the anodised aluminium body. Gunmetal accents and cap provide a sharp contrast. The design stays true to the minimalist character of the Ritma line, inspired by the clean forms of the 1960s and 70s, but the colour makes this edition unmistakably its own.
The pen feels right straight away: aluminium and steel combined in a way that gives it substance without adding weight. The standout feature is the magnetic cap, which requires no twisting. Pull it gently and it releases with a satisfying pop. On the back of the pen it clicks into place just as firmly, keeping it out of the way while you write.
The set includes a fountain pen, ballpoint and rollerball, along with a refill and a 30 ml bottle of Monteverde Topaz Reign ink. The fountain pen takes international ink cartridges or the included converter.
