Pilot Iroshizuku
The name Iroshizuku is a combination of the Japanese words Iro (Coloring), expressing high standards and variation of colors, and Shizuku (Droplet), that embodies the very image of dripping water. Each ink name derives from the expressions of beautiful Japanese natural landscapes and plants, all of which contribute to the depth of each individual hue.

Pilot launched the Iroshizuku line in 2007. The name joins iro (colour) and shizuku (droplet). Kiyomi Hasegawa, who spent years behind the counter of a stationery shop, kept hearing the same request from customers: more colours. That wish grew into a palette of 24 shades, each named after a Japanese landscape or plant.
At Penworld you will find all 24 colours of the Pilot Iroshizuku range. The ink comes in three formats: the classic 50 ml bottle, the 15 ml mini to try a colour, and a pack of 6 ink cartridges. The bottle has an angled base, so your pen can reach the very last drop.
Iroshizuku works in any fountain pen that takes bottled ink or Pilot cartridges. Looking for a pen to fill it with? Browse our fountain pens. Want to compare other colours or brands? Explore our range of fountain pen ink.
