The Pelikan Edelstein Sapphire Ink is a sapphire-blue ink, deep and saturated with a light purple lean; it goes on violet and dries to a clear sapphire blue. The colour is named after the sapphire. The ink carries the colour of its gemstone.
The ink flows smoothly from most fountain pens and shows medium shading. Edelstein is Pelikan's premium ink line, named for the gemstones behind every colour (edelstein is German for gemstone).
The ink comes in a 50 ml glass bottle, made in Germany. See the full range at Pelikan Edelstein ink.
