The Pelikan Edelstein Tanzanite Ink is a blue-black ink, with a light purple undertone; it writes a touch purple when wet and dries to a dark, indigo-like blue-black. The colour is named after tanzanite. So the ink takes on the tint of the stone.
The ink flows smoothly from most fountain pens and shows medium shading. On smooth paper Een lichte rode glans. Pelikan calls this premium line Edelstein, German for gemstone, with a stone behind every colour.
You get 50 ml of ink in a glass bottle of German make. See the full range at Pelikan Edelstein ink.
