The Pelikan Souverän M600 Art Collection Georg Tippel is the third edition in the Pelikan Art Collection series. The design draws from the poster 'Grundfarben', created by Georg Tippel in 1899 for Pelikan's very first poster competition. The flowing cloud formations from that historical poster have been translated into an abstract, rhythmic pattern on the decorated barrel. Semi-transparent warm brown resin sections frame the motif and give the pen its warm, layered appearance. Produced using the advanced Aurora process, finely engraved guilloché structures beneath multiple lacquer layers create a luminous surface that plays with light. 24-carat gold-plated accents and the iconic Pelikan clip complete the design.
As a piston-filling fountain pen, the M600 is filled via its built-in piston mechanism, providing a generous ink capacity. The two-tone 14-carat gold nib writes smoothly and offers just enough feedback to keep writing comfortable. The weight and balance of the M600 sit well in the hand, even during longer writing sessions.
The pen works with all standard fountain pen inks, including the Pelikan 4001 and Edelstein ink ranges. The edition is delivered in a luxury gift box, accompanied by a miniature reproduction of Tippel's original poster.
