The Lamy safari Neon Yellow is the 2026 Special Edition ballpoint pen with a glossy fluorescent yellow finish and black contrast trim. The plastic body in neon yellow has a glossy finish, and the triangular grip is moulded into the body in the same tone. Together with the Neon Pink from the same 2026 release, this ballpoint makes up the new Safari Special Edition duo.
The triangular grip positions the fingers naturally on the pen, one of the reasons the safari has been one of Lamy's best selling models since the 1980s. A push on the knob at the top brings out the refill. The flattened barrel prevents the pen from rolling off the desk, and the black clip keeps the pen secure in a bag or jacket pocket.
The Safari ballpoint takes Lamy M16 ballpoint refills and ships with a black M refill installed. The pen is delivered in a Lamy gift box.
