Caran d'Ache 849 Toile de Jouy Special Edition Set Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil

The Caran d'Ache 849 Toile de Jouy Set from the Christmas collection Toile de Jouy, Geneva Edition pairs an 849 ballpoint pen with an 849 mechanical pencil. The ballpoint is lacquered in cream white with fine blue scenes after Suzanne Pinon's Toile de Jouy; the pencil carries the same scenes in cream on a vintage blue lacquer. Clip and button are nickel plated steel on both.

Both have the light, sturdy hexagonal aluminium body of the 849. The ballpoint writes with a black Goliath refill in Medium, good for up to 600 A4 pages. The 0.5 mm mechanical pencil has an eraser under the push button with a lead reservoir beneath it, and comes with an HB lead.

The set comes in a card box printed with the blue and beige Toile de Jouy pattern. Spare refills are in the Caran d'Ache Goliath refills, more 849 pens in the Caran d'Ache 849 range.
