The Graf von Faber-Castell Classic Thuja Fountain Pen has a barrel of thuja burl wood, a warm brown with dark knots and swirls scattered along its length. Burl never repeats its pattern, so no two pens look the same. The platinum plated cap and section frame the wood with a bright finish.
It writes with a handmade 18 carat bicolour gold nib, run in by hand, in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. Use ink cartridges or the converter that comes with the pen, so bottled ink works as well.
