Safari Roll-Ink

LAMY safari Roll-ink: rollerball with fountain pen ink

The LAMY safari Roll-ink is a writing instrument that brings two worlds together. The iconic safari design with its ergonomic triangular grip and robust plastic body forms the foundation, but the writing system is something entirely different: the Roll-ink does not use conventional rollerball ink, but fountain pen ink. This gives the pen a writing feel that is noticeably smoother and more fluid than a traditional rollerball, without requiring any experience with fountain pens.

What further distinguishes the safari Roll-ink is the erasable ink. The pen works exclusively with the LAMY T10 erasable blue ink cartridge, a specially developed formula that allows you to remove written text with a standard eraser, without damaging the paper. The collection includes eleven colours: vibrant high-gloss finishes such as Yellow, Blue and Red, matte versions in Scarlet and Steel Black, and the Vista with a fully transparent body that keeps the ink visible at all times.

Every LAMY safari Roll-ink comes with one T10 erasable blue ink cartridge included, so you can start writing straight away. Replacement cartridges are available separately. The pen is not suitable for use with a converter. At just 11 grams and 140 mm in length, the safari Roll-ink is comfortable for everyday use, whether you are a student, writing at the office, or simply someone who enjoys a pen that offers a little more than an ordinary rollerball.
