After the popular revival of the Drehgriffel ballpoint pen from the 1920s, there is now the Drehgriffel Nr. 2: a pencil with a twist mechanism and a 0.7 mm graphite lead, for writing and drawing.
The body is precision-milled aluminium, the fine tip is steel. The tip and twist button are graphite grey. Turning the button opens the clutch at the tip, and a reservoir in the body holds several spare leads.
The Leuchtturm1917 Drehgriffel Nr. 2 Pencil Bubblegum is part of HUMAN INTELLIGENCE, the new Leuchtturm1917 colour range with Bubblegum, Burgundy, Moss and Dove. The notebooks and Pen Loops come in the same colour, so pencil and notebook match. The name points to the difference with AI: an algorithm can do a lot, but what you write by hand comes from your own head.
