The Montblanc Meisterstück Romeo & Juliet Solitaire Midsize Ballpoint turns one of the most enduring stories in world literature into a writing instrument. Cap and barrel carry a soft gradient lacquer that runs from pale to deep dark green, overlaid with a filigree gold coated leaf pattern. The gold coated cap top is engraved with the initials 'M' and 'C' for the houses of Montague and Capulet, while thorny branches coil around the cap, a quiet reference to the tragic ending of the story.
At Midsize, this ballpoint measures 142.3 mm by 16.7 mm and weighs 44.4 grams. The format sits comfortably in the hand and works well for everyday writing. The gold coated clip and rings frame the green lacquer and tie the design to the familiar Meisterstück silhouette.
