The Montblanc StarWalker Extreme Precious Resin Ballpoint ties the space-driven spirit of the StarWalker to the graphic Extreme pattern. Both the cap and the barrel are made of black precious resin, carrying the diagonal Extreme motif. The pattern first appeared in the 1920s, when testing a Montblanc nib left behind diagonal stripes. The ruthenium coated accents give the pen a smoke-grey, futuristic look. At the top of the cap sits an orange dome beneath a clear top, calling to mind a rocket just before launch.
In the hand the pen feels balanced from the first moment. It is light and solid at once. The cylindrical shape tapers cleanly toward the tip, which keeps writing comfortable even during longer notes. The twist mechanism glides the point out and back in again.
The ballpoint works with Montblanc ballpoint refills, available in several colours and line widths. That way you keep writing in the familiar Montblanc quality. The pen comes in a luxury Montblanc gift box, ideal to give as a present or to keep for yourself.
