The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection draws its inspiration from Jules Verne’s renowned adventure novel. Crafted in dark blue precious resin, the Classique Rollerball Pen narrates the final stage of Phileas Fogg and Passepartout’s journey – from Yokohama back to London via the United States.
An elegantly lasered train decorates the cap, commemorating their crossing of the vast American continent. The cone is adorned with a safety chain pattern, reflecting the dramatic moment when Passepartout detaches the train from the locomotive to save the crew during a Sioux attack. The cap also features pressure valve motifs and swirling steam, while the clip is detailed with a red-lacquered heart suit – a nod to the bond between Fogg and Princess Aouda.
The card suits represent Fogg’s audacious wager to circle the globe in just 80 days. Embossed on the cap top is the travel timeline: 36 days from Yokohama to London, completing the full 80-day journey.
