The Parker IM The Finishing Touch Slate fountain pen has a deep greyish-blue finish with a satin finish on brass. The pink gold PVD trim runs through the clip, cap band and nib, setting a warm, contrasting tone against the cool colour of the pen. Bold in its restraint.
The medium stainless steel nib writes smoothly and reliably. The pen sits well in the hand, with enough weight to feel solid without becoming tiring. Whether for journaling, planning or just thinking on paper, it gets out of the way and lets you write.
The pen takes Parker ink cartridges or, with a Parker converter (sold separately), bottled ink. It comes in an elegant gift box with a colour-matched sleeve, including one blue QUINK ink cartridge.
