Parker Meridian fountain pens, rollerballs and ballpoints

A new silhouette in the Parker range

Parker built the Meridian around lines. Sculpted creases run the length of the barrel, and where cap and barrel meet there is no overhang at all: the two sit flush, forming one continuous shape. Close the cap and it clicks, then aligns itself so the lines match up every time. The barrel is lacquered brass, finished with the familiar Parker arrow clip and the ellipse detail on the button.

Fountain pen, rollerball or ballpoint

The fountain pen carries a stainless steel nib, polished or PVD coated. It ships with one long blue Quink cartridge; a converter for filling from a bottle is sold separately under Parker refills. The rollerball writes with a black Quink rollerball refill. The ballpoint uses a twist mechanism and comes preloaded with a blue medium refill using Quinkflow ink, restocked from the Quinkflow ballpoint refills.

Thirteen colours, two families

The traditional range covers glossy black, matte black and chrome, each with gold or chrome trims, plus blue and red with gold. The expressive range runs alongside it: purple and lilac with pink gold trims, blue with black trims, and teal and grape with the rainbow trim Parker is using here for the first time. That finish blends blue, green, pink and gold and shifts with the light, so no two pens read quite the same.

Engraving and gifting

Every Meridian can be engraved with a name or initials free of charge, and arrives in the new Parker gift box: matte dark grey, soft-touch inside, with the Parker logo in gold foil. On price the Meridian sits above the Parker IM and below the Parker Sonnet, which makes it work as a present for a graduation or a new job.
