About the Edinburgh Collection
The Edinburgh Collection is inspired by the original Edinburgh Pen from the T. Hessin & Co archive. The tapered barrel is real wood, so every pen has its own grain, finished with chrome and the clip with five diamonds. The cap pushes on. The fountain pen has a steel JoWo nib, takes standard international cartridges and comes with a converter.
Each colour refers to a place in the city: Forth Bridge Red to the red railway bridge over the Firth of Forth, Stockbridge Stone to the stone of the Stockbridge district, Arthur's Seat Green to the hill above Edinburgh and Firth Blue to the waters of the Firth. If you want wood with more metal, have a look at the Revolution Collection; all collections are under Tom Hessin.
Questions about the Edinburgh Collection
Is every Edinburgh pen different?
Yes. The barrel is real wood, so the grain varies from pen to pen, even within the same colour.
Which nib does the Edinburgh fountain pen have?
A steel JoWo nib. You choose the width on the product page; the set comes with a Medium nib.
Does it come in a gift box?
Yes, every Edinburgh pen and set comes in a Tom Hessin gift box with a soft cushion and a ribbon. Engraving is not available for this collection.
