Waterman Hémisphère: slim and elegant since 1994

Waterman introduced the Hémisphère in 1994. Everything about this pen revolves around its slim shape, with a slim clip and a broad ring on the cap. According to Waterman, the collection comes in twelve finishes, from shiny palladium to smooth matt lacquer. Every pen is hand assembled in France. In the Waterman range, the Hémisphère sits between the Allure and the wider Expert.

Fountain pen, rollerball or ballpoint pen

• Fountain pen: a steel nib engraved with Waterman's familiar W, on most models in Fine or Medium. You write with ink cartridges, or with a converter and bottled ink.
• Rollerball: writes as smoothly as a fountain pen, but is as easy to use as a ballpoint pen.
• Ballpoint pen: with a twist mechanism, the most practical choice for every day.

Finishes: what do CT and GT mean?

CT stands for chrome or palladium trim, GT for gold trim. The Stainless Steel GT, for example, is brushed steel with trim that, according to Waterman, is plated with 23 carat gold. Alongside the classic versions in steel, Mars Black and Matt Black, you will also find special editions such as L'Essence du Bleu, Reflections of Paris and The Understated Edit.

Questions about the Waterman Hémisphère

Hémisphère or Expert?

Both have a steel nib and are made in France. The Hémisphère is slim and light; the Expert is wider and heavier, with a shape that tapers towards the end. If you are looking for a slim pen for your inside pocket, choose the Hémisphère.

Can I have a Hémisphère engraved?

Yes, on the standard models we laser engrave a name or a short text free of charge. This is not possible on the special editions L'Essence du Bleu and Reflections of Paris. Read more on our pen engraving page.

How long is the warranty?

Waterman gives a two-year warranty. If you register your pen on the Waterman website, you get another two years free of charge.
