The Pilot Converter CON-40 lets you fill a Pilot fountain pen from a bottle of ink instead of using cartridges. That opens up a far wider choice of colours, such as the Pilot Iroshizuku inks.
Twist the end and the piston draws the ink up smoothly. The barrel is clear, so you can always see how much ink is left. Inside are four small metal balls that break up air bubbles and keep the ink flowing steadily to the nib.
The CON-40 fits most Pilot fountain pens, including the Capless. Pilot itself mentions the Prera, the Custom Heritage 91 and the Grance, among others. You will find more cartridges and refills among our Pilot refills.
