The Retro 51 The Odyssey Tornado Rollerball Pen puts Homer's Odyssey on the barrel of a pen. The artwork is drawn like an ancient Greek vase: black figures on orange, between bands of meander pattern. Around the barrel you follow Odysseus on his voyage: the Cyclops, the sea monster Scylla, and Odysseus tied to the mast so he can resist the Sirens. The barrel has a matte finish, like fired clay.
The top, clip and tip are gloss black, Retro 51's Stealth accents. The top disc shows an orange circle with a meander border. Half a turn of the knurled top and the pen writes. It measures 125 mm, is 12 mm across and weighs 28 grams.
A black rollerball refill is fitted. Spares are in Retro 51 Refills. The pen comes in a black tube with copper foil printing that carries Homer's name. The Odyssey is the latest story in Retro 51's Literary Collection, alongside titles such as Peter Pan.
