Pink and orange run right through the polished acrylic of the Retro 51 Tornado Acrylic Cosmic Swirl Pink Orange Rollerball Pen, curling around the barrel in wide bands. The orange goes almost translucent in places. The pink stays solid. Retro 51 pours the acrylic barrel by barrel, so every pen comes out with its own pattern. Chrome on the tip, clip and ring, plus a pink disc set into the top knob.
The knurled knob is the twist mechanism. Half a turn and the tip is out. It weighs 28 grams and measures 125 mm, with a 12 mm barrel that gives you something to hold without bulking up the grip.
A black rollerball refill is fitted. Spares are under Retro 51 Refills, in blue, red and green as well as black. It ships in the Retro tube.
