The Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 40 Coloured Pencils holds 40 colours from the Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 range, made in the company's own workshops in Geneva.
Forty colours cover the usual ground and leave plenty of room to mix your own. The quality matches the large boxes exactly, there are simply fewer of them.
The wax based lead is packed with pigment: colour goes down creamy and covers heavily, even on dark paper. Of the hundred colours in the range, 81 reach the top lightfastness class LFI under the ASTM D-12901 standard. Under museum conditions your work keeps its colour for a century.
