The Esterbrook Estie Sweetly Haunted Fountain Pen is the cute side of things that go bump in the night. Esterbrook made it with Sweet Kawaii Design: a black barrel scattered with tiny ghosts, bats and stars, a soft purple accent and a little bat charm on the clip. The charm comes off after Halloween, the playful pattern works all year round. It arrives in a coffin-shaped box and is made in limited numbers.
Underneath the decoration it is a standard Estie with everything that makes the model work. The cushion cap uses a spring-loaded inner cap to seal the pen airtight, so the ink stays wet even if the pen sits unused for a few days. The nib is a steel #6 made by JoWo. It fills from international cartridges or the included converter. See the other versions of the Esterbrook Estie too.
