The Lamy AL-Star Turmaline fountain pen has the familiar AL-Star shape in a fresh turquoise shade, named after the tourmaline gemstone. The body is anodised aluminium with a metal wire clip and a see-through grip. The design won an iF Design Award.
The fountain pen writes with a steel nib, available in EF, F, M and B. The grip is symmetrically pre-shaped and settles your fingers into the right position, even through longer stretches of writing. Aluminium keeps the pen light but solid.
It ships with a LAMY T10 cartridge in blue. To fill from a bottle, add the Z28 converter separately. Browse the full cartridge range in the Lamy T10 refills. The pen arrives in Lamy gift packaging and can be laser engraved for free.
