The Lamy Scala Pearl Limited Edition Fountain Pen dresses the clean lines of the Scala in a pearl lacquer that changes with the light, from soft silver to warm cream. The body is made of stainless steel, and the clip, grip and the metal ends of cap and barrel are polished and electroplated. Lamy is making 1,500 numbered pieces worldwide, each with its edition number engraved in the clip.
Under the cap sits the Lamy Z 55, a two-tone nib in 14 carat gold. This edition comes with a fine nib only. The all-metal pen feels solid in the hand and is assembled by hand in Lamy's workshop in Heidelberg.
It arrives in a gift box with a Lamy Z 27 converter, a bottle of Lamy T 53 ink in ruby and two packs of Lamy T10 ink cartridges in black and blue-black, so you can fill it from the bottle or use cartridges straight away. More versions are in the Lamy Scala range.
