Sixty years after Gerd A. Müller designed it in 1966, Lamy celebrates its classic with the Lamy 2000 Bog Oak Limited Edition Fountain Pen. The body is made of bog oak, oak that lay preserved in peat for centuries and turned a deep, dark colour. The cap and end piece are brushed stainless steel. Lamy is making 1,966 pieces worldwide, a nod to the year of the design.
The nib is 14 carat gold with a platinum coating, partly hooded. This edition comes with a medium nib only. You fill the pen straight from an ink bottle with its built-in piston.
The pen comes in a collector's box with a Lamy anniversary booklet and an A5 notebook. Suitable ink is among the Lamy refills, and other versions are in the Lamy 2000 range.
