The Montblanc Great Characters Homage to Bruce Lee Special Edition Rollerball Pen is the rollerball from the Bruce Lee series Montblanc released in October 2026. The edition looks at Bruce Lee the actor: born in San Francisco in 1940, raised in Hong Kong and made famous by The Big Boss, Fist of Fury and The Way of the Dragon. Yellow and black, the colours of his best known film outfit, run through the whole pen.
The black precious resin barrel shows a raised dragon that Bruce Lee drew himself. That choice is no accident: he was born on 27 November 1940, in the hour and the year of the dragon. The glossy yellow cap comes from Game of Death, the fine geometric lines from the frame of the original Enter the Dragon poster. The finely textured clip is a nunchaku stick, the cap ring a piece of bamboo. A hornet circles the ruthenium coated cone as a reference to the TV series that made him known, and the white Montblanc emblem carries the Chinese character for dragon, for his nickname Little Dragon.
The pen writes with a Montblanc rollerball refill, which you will find under the Montblanc refills. At 144.3 mm and 55.32 grams it is the heaviest of the three Bruce Lee pens. It comes in a Montblanc gift box.
