The Montegrappa Armonia Black Fountain Pen is Montegrappa's entry model, made for anyone starting out with Italian writing instruments. It gathers the house's classic design codes and opens them up to many kinds of writers, hands and budgets. The pen is slim and refined, well balanced, and meant for every day or for a gift.
Body and cap are glossy black resin. The trim is stainless steel: a wide cap band with the Montegrappa name, a straight clip and an end cap. At 18 grams, 138 mm long and 12.8 mm across, the Armonia is light in the hand. Montegrappa says a good pen comes down to a quick response on paper, an even ink flow and clean lines, and the stainless steel nib is there to deliver them.
It takes cartridges or a converter, and two cartridges plus a converter come in the box. With the converter it fills from a bottle, so any ink colour will do. Montegrappa prefers long lasting refills to disposables. Spare cartridges and ink are sold separately in our Montegrappa refills.
