The Pelikan M815 Metal Striped Green Fountain Pen Special Edition is the third colour in the Metal Striped line, after Black and Blue. This time Pelikan returns to green, the colour tied to the brand since the first striped Souverän pens, in a darker and deeper shade than the green of the classic Souverän.
Polished metal stripes alternate with deep green lacquer. Turn the pen and the metal catches the light while the green falls back, then the other way round. The barrel is solid metal, which gives the pen a balanced weight and keeps it steady in the hand.
Rings and clip are palladium plated. The handmade 18 carat gold nib is fully rhodium plated, so it shares the silver sheen of the rest of the trim. The pen fills straight from a bottle with Pelikan's piston mechanism. Each pen comes in a special Pelikan gift box.
