The Caran d'Ache 849 Nina Cosford is a Special Edition born from the ongoing collaboration between Caran d'Ache and British illustrator Nina Cosford, an official ambassador of the Maison. Nina Cosford is known for her expressive, colourful characters figures in motion, each with their own personality, hairstyle and attitude. That world comes to the 849 in the form of dancing silhouettes wrapping around the pen's light cream body, printed in six colours and finished with the artist's own signature on face 4, opposite the clip.
The hexagonal aluminium body has a satin light cream lacquer finish. The illustration runs around the full circumference so the characters are always in view when you write. The push mechanism is straightforward and reliable. Light in the hand, solid in everyday use.
The pen comes fitted with a black Caran d'Ache Goliath medium refill, rated for around 600 pages of writing. It is compatible with all Caran d'Ache Goliath ink refills. It arrives in a glossy Slimpack with magnetic closure, designed to match the graphic identity of the pen itself.
