The Caran d'Ache 849 Toile de Jouy Burgundy Ballpoint Pen comes from the Christmas collection Toile de Jouy, Geneva Edition. The whole body is finished in a satin dark burgundy lacquer, with clip and push button in the same colour, which gives the classic 849 a calm, warm look.
The hexagonal aluminium body is light, sturdy and stays put on the desk. It writes with a black Goliath refill in Medium, good for up to 600 A4 pages, and it is refillable.
The pen comes in a card box printed with the burgundy and beige Toile de Jouy pattern and its scenes of Geneva. Spare refills are in the Caran d'Ache Goliath refills, other colours in the Caran d'Ache 849 range.
