The Diplomat Aero Black Forest Fountain Pen adds a natural dimension to a silhouette that otherwise reads as purely industrial. Body and cap are made from aluminium and finished with hydro dipping, a process that transfers a wood grain pattern onto the surface. The result is a pen that carries the warmth of timber while keeping the strength and light weight of metal.
Beneath the cap sits a hooded stainless steel nib, designed for steady ink flow and to resist drying between sessions. The Soft Sliding Click closure is a Diplomat signature: the cap snaps shut with a soft click, magnetic but without any threading. Diplomat has been producing these pens in Cunewalde, Saxony, since 1922, to the same craftsmanship standard that defines the rest of the range.
The pen takes standard international cartridges or works with a converter for bottled ink. One international cartridge and a Diplomat gift box are included. The international warranty runs for five years.
