The Kaweco Sport Brass Fountain Pen is the heavy model of the Sport series. Kaweco makes it from high quality brass, with silver coloured details such as the logo cap and the steel nib. With use and time the brass builds up a natural patina, so every Brass Sport slowly becomes one of a kind.
Closed, the pen is 10.7 cm long, 12.7 cm with the cap posted, and it weighs 41.6 grams. That weight rests the nib lightly on the paper by itself, which makes long writing sessions comfortable. The octagonal cap is the signature of the Sport, the pocket fountain pen Kaweco has made since 1911. Brass used to be reserved for clips and rings. Only with ink cartridges could a pen be made entirely of brass, because the ink no longer touches the metal.
The steel nib is made in Germany, and the width can be chosen in the options. The pen takes international standard cartridges, found in our Kaweco ink cartridges. To fill from a bottle, use the Kaweco Mini Converter. A clip is available as an option. The pen is delivered in the familiar Kaweco tin box.
