The Lamy safari Neon Yellow is the 2026 Special Edition fountain pen with a glossy fluorescent yellow finish and black contrast trim. The neon yellow body sits against a translucent grip in a lighter yellow tint, finished with a black clip and black ink window. Together with the Neon Pink from the same 2026 release, this pen makes up the new Safari Special Edition duo.
The triangular grip positions the fingers naturally on the pen, one of the reasons the safari has been a starter fountain pen recommendation since the 1980s. The black steel nib is made at the Lamy factory in Heidelberg and writes smoothly from the first stroke. The side ink window keeps the ink level in view, and the flattened barrel prevents the pen from rolling off the desk.
The safari takes Lamy T10 cartridges and ships with one blue T10 included. For bottled ink the Lamy Z28 converter is sold separately. The pen is delivered in a Lamy gift box.
