The Montblanc StarWalker Extreme Precious Resin Fountain Pen connects the space-driven spirit of the StarWalker with the graphic Extreme pattern. Cap and barrel are both made of black precious resin, carrying the diagonal Extreme motif. The pattern first appeared in the 1920s, when testing a Montblanc nib left behind diagonal stripes. The ruthenium coated accents give the pen a smoke-grey, futuristic look. At the top of the cap sits an orange dome beneath a clear top, calling to mind a rocket just before launch.
At the heart of this fountain pen is the solid Au 585 gold nib, ruthenium coated and finished with a special engraving. Gold gives the nib a natural spring that keeps writing smooth and even. The cylindrical body sits balanced in the hand, also during longer texts.
The fountain pen comes with a Montblanc converter, so you can fill it from a bottle of ink. Montblanc ink cartridges can be used as well.
