The Montblanc StarWalker Extreme Doué Ballpoint brings the space-driven spirit of the StarWalker together with the graphic Extreme pattern. Its barrel is made of black precious resin, worked through with the diagonal Extreme motif. That pattern goes back to the 1920s, when testing a Montblanc nib left behind diagonal stripes. The ruthenium coated accents give the pen a smoke-grey, futuristic look. At the top of the cap sits an orange dome beneath a clear top, calling to mind a rocket just before launch.
In the hand the pen feels balanced from the first moment. It holds firmly without feeling heavy. The cylindrical shape tapers cleanly toward the tip, which keeps writing comfortable even during longer notes. The twist mechanism glides the point out and back in again.
The ballpoint works with Montblanc ballpoint refills, available in several colours and line widths. That way you keep writing in the familiar Montblanc quality. The pen comes in a luxury Montblanc gift box, ideal to give as a present or to keep for yourself.
