Wild Arctic is Montegrappa's third collaboration with Project WILD, the initiative of photographers and National Geographic Explorers Helle and Uri Løvevild Golman. After Africa, the series heads to the Arctic. The changing seasons there are the theme, in an edition of 999 pieces per version.
The body is made of two-tone Montegrappite, Montegrappa's own resin that reuses production offcuts, in different shades of blue. The cap top carries an engraved expedition emblem with the motto "What you love ⋅ You will protect". The clip is shaped like the wing feather of a snowy owl.
The Montegrappa Wild Arctic Limited Edition Fountain Pen has an 18 carat gold nib and works with cartridges or a converter. The Montegrappa Wild Arctic Limited Edition Rollerball Pen is the rollerball in the same design.
