Pelikan Souverän M1000 Raden Stardust Fountain Pen Limited Edition

The Pelikan Souverän M1000 Raden Stardust is an extraordinary meeting of two age-old traditions: Pelikan's German mastery of fine writing instruments, backed by over 185 years of craftsmanship, and the exquisite decorative artistry of Japan's Raden technique. The body of this fountain pen is coated in deep black Urushi lacquer, onto which three types of finely crushed abalone shell have been meticulously applied in vertical stripes using a traditional Funzutsu powder tube. With every shift of the light, an iridescent shimmer dances across the surface in hues of violet, blue, green, and silver, like stars scattered across a midnight sky.

This work of art was created by renowned artist Yamazaki Mushu and his collective Hoshu-kai, a revered group of Kaga maki-e masters from Yamanaka Onsen in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. The delicate Raden inlay is sealed beneath layers of clear lacquer, hand-polished to a lustrous, glassy finish of remarkable depth. Radiant 24k gold-plated accents, including the classic Pelikan clip and double cap bands, lend this writing instrument its timeless sense of luxury. Each pen is individually signed by the artist and features a unique edition number applied using the maki-e technique.

The Pelikan Souverän M1000 is equipped with a built-in piston filling mechanism, allowing you to draw ink directly from any ink bottle. The pen is presented in an elegant paulownia wood box that reflects the reverence and care behind its exceptional creation.
