About the Charles 1870 Gherkin
The Gherkin is the London skyscraper with a façade of diamond-shaped glass panels. Tom Hessin turns that façade into a fine relief of small diamonds along the whole barrel, the same motif as the five diamonds on the clip. The barrel is lacquered metal, which makes the pen weightier and well balanced, and the cap screws shut.
All Black is completely black, with a black PVD clip and nib. Monument Grey and Sky Blue have a chrome clip and a chrome-finish steel nib. Every colour comes with a JoWo nib with an iridium tip in Fine, Medium or Broad.
The Gherkin belongs to Tom Hessin's Charles line. The Charles Collection is made of resin and offers even more nibs, up to a 1.5 mm calligraphy nib. You can find every collection under Tom Hessin.
